Resuscitators

Description: VBM Resuscitators refers to a brand of manual resuscitators, also known as a bag-valve-mask (BVM) or “Ambu bag”. These devices are portable, handheld tools used in emergencies to manually provide positive pressure ventilation to patients who are not breathing effectively or at all.

Special Features:

• They come in both disposable (PVC) and reusable (silicone) versions, with the reusable silicone sets being autoclavable up to 50 times for reprocessing.
• The pediatric and infant models feature a pressure relief (“pop-off”) valve, often set around 40 cmH₂O, to prevent over-inflation and potential lung injury in smaller patients.
• The bag often has a textured surface with an integrated handle to improve grip and ease of use, especially when a single rescuer is present.
• A 360º swivel is provided between the mask and valve, allowing the resuscitator to be held in a convenient position during use.
• The transparent material of the bag and clear face mask allows for a clear view of the product’s function and the patient’s condition.
